Air Fryer Baby Potatoes Recipe

Delicious roasted potatoes with crunchy edges and subtle flavors from the herbs ---that's what you'll get from these Air Fryer Baby Potatoes.  The best part?  They are ready in less than 10 minutes!

  • 1 pound baby potatoes (500 grams)
  • 1 & 1/2 tsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp dried parsley
  • 1/4 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/4 tsp paprika
  • salt and pepper
  • sea salt, for serving (optional)


  • Start by making sure all the baby potatoes are (almost) the same size.  
    (Note: I typically chop those bigger than one inch into halves.)
  • Combine the potatoes, olive oil, herbs, paprika, salt, and ground black pepper.
  • Preheat the air fryer to 200°C (375 °F) for 5 minutes.
  • Place the seasoned potatoes into the basket.
  • After 4 minutes, shake the basket or use a tong with silicone to turn the baby potatoes to the other side.
  • Continue cooking for about 4 to 5 more minutes, or when the small potatoes are soft and nicely browned on the edges.
  • Transfer your air fryer small potatoes into plates.
  • Sprinkle with some sea salt or fresh parsley, if desired --- then enjoy!


  • Cook's Tip #1:  Do not skip the preheating of the air fryer, even if the instruction manual indicates that it's not necessary.
  • Cook's Tip #2:  You can spray your baby potatoes with oil directly instead of combining it with herbs and spices.
  • Cook's Tip #3:  Feel free to use your favorite dried herbs --- thyme and rosemary are also excellent options.
  • Cook's Tip #4:  Dried herbs are better for these air fryer small potatoes than the fresh ones because they are less likely to burn in the air fryer.
