Preheat your oven to 200°C (375°F).
Combine the honey with melted butter.
Add cinnamon powder and use a whisk to mix.
Prepare the apples by peeling, coring, and slicing them thinly. (For reference, I typically slice a medium-sized apple into 14 portions.) Place the apple slices in a bowl and pour the honey and butter mixture.
Add the raisins and mix gently --- try to coat all the apple pieces.
Transfer everything into a baking dish.
Add some crushed walnuts on top.
Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil.
Place the covered apples with walnuts in the middle of the oven for 30 minutes.
Remove the aluminum foil and continue baking the apples for about 10 more minutes.
Take the baking dish out of the oven and cool for 10 minutes.
Transfer your baked apples with walnuts into plates.
Serve with some whipped cream, plus more walnuts or raisins, if desired.
