Start by placing a medium skillet or pan over medium-high heat.
Heat the olive oil in a medium-sized pan or skillet over medium-high heat.
Once it's ready, add the garlic and cook until it becomes fragrant.
Add the crushed tomatoes, dried basil, parsley, sugar, salt and pepper.
Mix, lower heat, and simmer sauce for about ten minutes (leave uncovered).
Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
Taste and adjust the seasoning of the sauce by adding sugar, salt, or ground black pepper.
Add the gnocchi directly into the skillet.
Mix to combine --- coating the gnocchi with the sauce in the process.
Top with the grated parmesan and mozzarella.
Place the skillet in the middle of the oven for thirty to thirty-five minutes or until the top turns golden.
Remove from the oven and set aside for about five minutes.
Your oven-baked gnocchi is now ready ---- enjoy!
