- 3 pieces kielbasa (3/4 to 1 cup when chopped), chopped
- 1 to 2 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
- 4 cups cooked rice (3/4 cup uncooked), separated
- 1/2 cup frozen corn, heaping
- 1/2 cup carrots, chopped into small dice
- 1 to 2 teaspoons light soy sauce
- 2 to 3 pieces green onions, roughly chopped
- salt and pepper, to season
Place the chopped kielbasa in a cold wok or skillet and place it over medium-high heat.
Cook until oil comes out, and they turn brown on the edges.
Lower the heat to medium and add the garlic.
Cook until the garlic becomes fragrant, then add the carrot and corn.
Adjust the heat to high and mix for about four minutes to cook the vegetables.
Add the separated rice, soy sauce, salt, and ground black pepper.
Mix to combine everything evenly and cook for about five minutes --- taste and adjust the seasoning accordingly.
Add some of the chopped green onions and the kielbasa from earlier.
Mix, then take it off the heat.
Transfer your kielbasa fried rice into plates, sprinkle with the remaining green onions --- and serve!
